Hailey J. Tackett, Attorney
Hailey J. Tackett joined Delius & McKenzie, PLLC in 2023. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. Tackett worked in the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, where she spent more than a year as the District’s DUI prosecutor. A formidable trial attorney, she has litigated hundreds of DUI cases from Sessions Court to Circuit Level – and now she is putting her experience to work on behalf of our clients.
Ms. Tackett is a Sevierville native. She was Valedictorian of her graduating class of Sevier County High School, and an 11-time letterman in volleyball, basketball, and track. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of Tennessee – Knoxville, and was a National Champion Volleyball Player with the University’s Club Volleyball. While in school, she worked as a paralegal for a large Knoxville firm focusing on business law, and realized she was passionate about the law. She earned her J.D. from Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2021. She was an active participant in the Criminal Law Society as well as a peer leader, and was awarded the CALI award in Trial Advocacy.
Outside of her work, Ms. Tackett is also passionate about spending time with her family and hiking in the mountains. She also enjoys baking and reading.
